Communication with others by electronic media, whether it's phone, e-mail, or fax, could well be difficult...
Everything that can go wrong probably will - machines breaking down, phone lines out, messages not delivered, the Internet crashing. Driving a car could land you in impossible traffic.
If you really need to speak to someone, the best thing to do may be just to take a walk and go see them in person.
Perhaps its your last day to be with them.

In my quot.
What does it mean when I say chivalry isn't dead?
Chivalry was the code of behaviour of the Arthurian Knights. It involved respect/politeness towards women and defeated foes etc. Femininsts don't like it because they see it as somehow degrading to women. It basically involves standing aside to allow a lady to go first, holding doors for ladies, giving up your seat to a lady, Assisting a lady in difficulty, walking on the outside of the pavement ( to protect the lady from mud/water thrown up by passing carriages, holding a chair at the dining table for a lady to sit down, etc.) Terribly politically incorrect, but a much nicer way to live.
Early years 1170 and 1220.
