.Know that you will have a greater chance of success if your hair has never been re-bonded (Hair Straightening), dyed permanent black color or permed.
.Expect longer hair to fare better during casting calls for hair models.
.Perform a search online to find job boards in your area. Find hair modeling jobs posted by salons and individuals, and the requirements will be listed for you to review.
.Keep in mind that attitude can give you an extra edge on interviews and casting calls. Be charming and honest regarding your background history about your hair.Expect your casting call to be busy and crowded. You will have to fill out an application, answer questions about your expectations for the cut and/or color, and appear in a "line-up" of other potential models.
.Listen to Advice of Hairdresser regarding taking care of your Hair.
.Be updated latest Hairstyle on Magazine.
.Plan to walk the runway. You'll get photos taken at the end of the runway for the salon files.
.Get compensated in some way. At the very least, you'll get your hair cut and styled for free.
Other potential compensation includes free hair products, digital copies of photos taken at the event, and cash payments.
